Review: Avon cool bliss e/s

I recently bought Avon's Cool Bliss eyeshadow in Pebble Stone which is a tan, sandy color with a mother-of-pearl type shine. I'm not really big on cream eye shadows because they tend to crease easily even when using a primer, but I decided to buy this because I heard it was comparable to Mac's paint pots, Benefit's crease-less cream eyeshadow and Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear cream eyeshadow. Every girl is a sucker for some Mac but not all of us can fit $15 eye colors into our budget, so it's nice to know if there's something out there that's more affordable. So, on to the review!

This product comes in 4 different shades, Frothy Mocha, Pebble Stone, Sparkling Plum, and Exquisite Blue. I chose Pebble Stone because I will be using this product as a base color and I want it to be versatile with all the different types of looks I will be doing with it. Packaging is nice, it's a plastic pot with a screw-on lid. Color in the pot is beige/tan. It amused me because it's the same color as my living room wall, lol.

Sheer as the color is though, it showed up rather nicely on my eye lid. It is easy to apply, I just used my finger tips and smoothed it over my lid.

Naked eyelid on right, product applied on the left.

And I'm very happy to say that the color is actually long lasting!! I've been wearing it for a few hours now and it hasn't collected in my lid! That's a lot to say because I have a very deep crease in my lid and it's easy for eyeshadow to flock to the crease. I don't know if it would last as long on the lid by itself because I always top a creamy product with a powder. Blush, eyeshadow, foundation, etc., if it's cream-based I always top it with a powder.

That being said, I think I'm going to order the other colors in this line before they discontinue it. I'm really loving this! I'm going to post a tutorial on this look soon if anyone's interested.
